Stephen Sears is a former journalist who now applies his experience to educate the public on domestic violence issues and speak up for victims. Before trading retirement to work for Safe Journey, Stephen was a reporter, writer, copy editor, and photographer at four Erie County-based publications. During his 30-year career, he covered education, local government, religion, community events, and breaking news. Stephen is a member of the Erie County Rural Domestic Violence Task Force. A graduate of Edinboro University, Stephen also serves on the boards of Safe Journey and his local library.
